Grand Funk Railroad's "Some Kind Of Wonderful Tour" joined Kid Rock's "Bad Reputation Tour" this week playing two back to back shows in California. Kicking off in Wheatland, CA just outside Sacramento at the Toyota Amphitheater 9/30, GFR had the massive crowd on their feet the entire show.
With a short flight to Ontario, CA 10/1, Grand Funk again played an amazing set to a SOLD OUT Glen Helen Amphitheater in lovely San Bernardino. This was GFR's 12th show this year with Kid Rock, and the Michigan Rock & Roll combination was incredible.

The American Band was booked to play at the beautiful French Lick Resort Casino in French Lick, IN back in 2019. Before the Covid Pandemic shut everything down. After rescheduling this SOLD OUT show several times due to Covid related issues, GFR finally played the show Friday Night Sept. 2, 2022.
The SOLD OUT Event Center was packed to capacity, and the crowd of Happy Hoosiers sang along and danced to all the Grand Funk Railroad Hits.

Grand Funk continued their Some Kind of Wonderful 2022 Tour with great shows in Columbus, Ohio's Nationwide Arena and Grand Rapids, MI at Van Andel Arena. Both shows are in conjunction with Kid Rock's Bad Reputation Tour.
GFR always loves playing for these terrific Rock & Roll audiences, and the crowds love Grand Funk. The American flavor of these two Michigan Rock Bands is extraordinary and makes an awesome evening of Rock Music Entertainment.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

GFR traveled to Uncasville 1/9/22, CT for a special show at the Mohegan Sun Casino Arena. Playing for a full house of the casino's elite players, Grand Funk lit up the arena with a fiery show that had the crowd dancing in the aisles. Folks were even doing a Conga Line Dance to Locomotion and everyone sang along to Some Kind Of Wonderful.
Opening the show was San Francisco's Classic Jefferson Starship.
Grand Funk Railroad kicked off their Some Kind Of Wonderful 2022 Tour 1/7/22 at the historic Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, NJ. Having played this iconic venue 24 years ago, it seemed very familiar. Originally opened in 1926 and named after the famous Jazz pianist Count Basie in 1984, it has been through many renovations and today hosts national touring acts of all musical genres.
GFR rocked the house on January 7 and despite the Covid Pandemic and the audience wearing masks, everyone had a great time revisiting the Grand Funk Hits.
